Vintage Workshop with Jenny Pepper

A lovely day of playing with bits and pieces of Vintage findings. Gather up all those special fragments of lace and fabric you have collected to bring with you and learn how to incorporate them with your felt making. Jenny will have lots of samples to inspire you, she will show you various techniques of combining other textiles within your work. Spend the coming months gathering items such as lace, crochet doylies, fragments of light fabrics, scarves to tear up into fragments, old hankies, clothing elements such as cuffs and collars, ribbons, textiles that are worn or frayed edged.

Embellish with old buttons, buckles, hooks and eyes. During the workshop you can choose to make one or two small finished items such as a purse, book cover, needlecase, pin cushion, jewellery, etc. Alternatively, you may wish to make a collection of samples for future reference or a wallhanging.
