Yarndale takes place this year on
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September. This year York based knitting
group ‘Fiddlesticks’ are planning to take a coach on the Saturday

Yarndale runs very much along the
lines of Woolfest, with not many animals other than some alpacas, and
with quite a few feltmaking stands. It has the advantage too of
being that bit nearer than Cockermouth.
