At our last members day on Saturday 21 June, we enjoyed a Workshop led by Sheila Smith, about finishing off edges. Thank you Sheila for a lovely day!
I would also like to welcome two new members to the group, Pamela Cook and Sallie Anderson, who came for the afternoon and felted away in the smaller room.
Our next big event is our group stall at the Tockwith Show. Event date is Sunday 3 August 2014.
We need some helpers on the Saturday to set up the stall. Also please felt away and make some items to contribute for the display! They can be either just for display or for sale.Could you please get in touch with any of the committee members to arrange a delivery by Wednesday 30th July at the very latest. It would help if you let us know beforehand if you are going to contribute.
Please help to make this year's stall the success it was last year!
If you haven't been to Woolfest, or if you have been and haven't had enough of wool heaven, then you may want to go to Yarndale this year. We have been invited by Anne Bush, from the Ebor Ruggers, to join them on a coach. See Events Page for details and booking form.
